❤︎ About Me ❤︎

Hidden deep within a forested valley, where ancient trees whisper amongst the breeze, a small seed grew from the enchanted soil of the feywild. Camber sprouted that day, under the dappled light from the tree canopy, with curious eyes noting her entry to the world. She was one with this place, where magic runs through every creature's veins and the world is so colourful and bright. But, it also was… overwhelming to her, to say the least. With so much constantly changing around her, the movement and life, Camber found herself desiring a safe haven to rest and recover many a time, wanting a break from all of the chaos the feywilds held. One day, she ventured farther than before, out from the forest she knew like the back of her hand, and searched for something more. And she did, even if it was a peculiar circumstance to most. She formed a bond with a colossal cat, a creature of legend only heard of in tales of the fey realm. A story for another time, perhaps. And driven by her wants and its nature and desire, she brought her ideas to life. The cat helped her seek out those who needed a home, and very quickly they both became acquainted with those they called Froglets. With the froglet’s help gathering supplies, Camber used her magic to weave a saddle-like structure onto the back of the giant cat, making a base platform that would soon be shaped into The Cosy Cat Cafe. While the cat slept comfortably for the first time in a long while, she and the froglets spent hours weaving flowers, growing moss, and creating a comfortable place for them to reside in, with many crevices soon to be filled with books, candles and baking of all shapes and sizes. An unspoken pact was formed from that day forward. The travelling cat would take Camber and her Froglets across the lands to the far corners of the feywild that needed them the most- to the lost, the weary and the broken hearted. Serving enchanted pastries and brews to soothe and comfort, they continue to do their best to help anyone they can. They don’t just take regular cafe orders here, Camber reads from her customer’s hearts to find what they truly desire. She doesn’t need to ask what or why, sometimes just gently sliding a steaming mug and plate of biscuits accompanied by an understanding smile. If a customer speaks sharply, she does not bite back, simply offering a gentler approach and freshly baked goods on the house. Her welcoming aura disarms even the grumpiest of creatures, who find themselves lowering their voices and breathing a sigh of peace in the cafe walls. The Cosy Cat Cafe opens depending on when the cat sleeps, so the interior is under strict rules to stay as a soft, positive, calm haven while it naps. You can even view its massive, pink beaned paws just outside the window twitching while it rests. The air is heavy with the scent of lavender, honeyed spice and baked goods. When the cat stirs, the cafe gets quickly packed away and ready for its next journey- to help more lost souls that wander in.In a realm full of colour, life and magic, The Cosy Cat Cafe is loved not because it is powerful, but because it's a safe place to rest a while. Anyone, from a tiny woodland creature to a towering tree spirit, leaves feeling a little lighter, a little warmer, and a lot more loved.
